This course teaches massage professionals additional styles of massage (sports massage and deep tissue massage,) and additional information on acupressure. The hands-on classes focus on indications and contraindications of each massage modality, demonstration and practice of techniques, and the theory and applications of each style of massage. In addition, students are required to take pathology and anatomy and physiology, emphasizing the healthy functioning of the body.
